Luke Wilton is hoping and praying that he can be crowned king of the British Flyweight division in Belfast.
Wilton has secured a second shot at the belt after the British Boxing Board of Control ordered a bout between Wilton and Scotland’s Iain Butcher.
Purse bids will take place on March 11 and only then will the date and venue of the clash be announced.
“I am excited to get chance to fight for the British title again. It has been long time coming but I have shown patience throughout my career and I just had to wait again.
“We hope to bring it to Belfast, but we will just have to wait and see what happens.
“Butcher is a good fighter and I know it will be a tough fight,” he added.
“Both of us have challenged for the British title before and both of us have fought Kevin Satchell as well so we have an equal amount of experience. It will be a hard fight.”
