Tommy McCarthy put down another marker at the Red Cow Moran Hotel in Dublin on Friday night.

The Belfast cruiserweight stopping Jakub Wojcik with a crisp left hand in the sixth round.

It was McCarthy’s fifth stoppage in five fights and manager Pat Magee will be looking for his young charge to move up through the rankings quickly in the coming months.

There were also wins on the night for Phil Sutcliffe jnr, Steve Collins jnr and Sean Turner.
