Civil Service face Ballymena in opening round of NCU Challenge Cup

Holders Civil Service North will meet Ballymena in the first round of the NCU’s Ulster Bank Senior Challenge Cup.

They will have home advantage when the two Premier League sides meet on May 16.

There will be only one other Premier League clash among the eight ties when North Down host Lisburn.

Last year’s runners-up Waringstown will travel to either Derriaghy or Academy who meet in one of two preliminary round ties.

Ulster Bank Senior Cup:

Preliminary Round (May 2): Derriaghy v Academy; Donaghcloney v Cliftonville

First Round (May 16): North Down v Lisburn; Templepatrick v Woodvale; Muckamore v Bangor; Carrickfergus v Downpatrick; Lurgan v Instonians; Derriaghy or Academy v Waringstown; CSNI v Ballymena; Donaghacloney or Cliftonville v CIYMS.
