Ryan Haire hit a blistering unbeaten 78 as Muckamore beat Cliftonville to win the Twenty20 Trophy at Middle Road on Friday night.

The Moylena side won by the comfortable margin of 75 runs after piling up a massive 187 for four batting first.

Cliftonville might have thought they had Muckamore under control with the score at 73 for two after 12 overs but 115 runs were smashed in the last eight.

Clifonville never looked like chasing down the target and it was effectively over when Jonathan Terrett was out to his former North Down team-mate Haire in the 11th over. Cliftonville closed on 112 for eight.
