Celtic boss Ronny Deila hit out at Kris Commons after the midfielder threw a strop at being substituted in the 3-1 Europa League defeat by Molde in Norway.
In dreadful conditions at the Aker Stadion, first-half goals by striker Ola Kamara and defender Vegard Forren gave the home side a two goal interval lead.
Commons reduced the lead in the 54th minute with a well-taken goal but seconds later Mohamed Elyounoussi restored the Norwegian club’s advantage.
When the former Derby attacker was replaced by Nadir Ciftci with 15 minutes remaining he showed his rage as he went into the dugout.
Deila said: “That is not acceptable. We are a team. I can understand that players can be disappointed getting taken off but to show it that way is not how we want to have it at Celtic.
“We are one team and it is not about one player. It was very disrespectful to every one of us.
“He was talking to everybody. He was irritated he was taken off, that’s okay but you do it a better way than he did it tonight
“I have spoken to him, of course.”
