BALLYMENA 2 CLIFTONVILLE 3

Martin Donnelly was the match winner in this fantastic Wasp Solutions League Cup final at Windsor Park.

It was a game that had everything. Big Joe Gormley shot Cliftonville into a two goal lead, but Ballymena United came out fired up for a second half revival and substitute David Cushley had them level.

Just when extra time looked a possibility, Donnelly popped up to ram home a beauty to win the League for the Reds for the third successive year.
