Crusaders Football Club have signed Andrew Mitchell on a two year contract with the club.
Described as a versatile player who can play in a variety of positions, he has joined the squad as they look ahead to Champions League football and the defence of the Danske Bank Premiership title.
Andrew, who comes from Glengormley, has played for Manchester City, Rangers, Southport and most recently Annan Athletic in Scotland.
He has also played for Northern Ireland from Under 16 to Under 21 level
Chairman Stephen Bell said; “It is superb we have signed Andrew on a two year deal. He is a player who Stephen Baxter has long admired and he will fit into the team with no problems. We can look forward to seeing yet another exciting local lad play in Red and Black and giving his all for Crusaders”
