Goals from Gavin Whyte, Jordan Owens and Billy Joe Burns kept Crusaders on title track at Seaview.

Whyte struck after only five minutes when his low cross from the left crept under the body of Ballinamallard United goalkeeper Stefan McCusker.

The Crues then missed a number of glorious opportunities to kill off the game before Owens pounced to head home from close range after McCusker produced a sensation save to deny Paul Heatley.

Burns capped a great day for the Crues by hitting the third in injury time, walking past McCuster before putting the ball into the empty net.
