Institute manager Paul Kee’s players need to be on their guard for Saturday’s Irish Cup encounter against Loughgall, at Drumahoe (KO 3pm).

The Villagers, who lost 1-0 to the PSNI last weekend, currently sit third from bottom of the Championship One table.

Despite their poor form Kee is expecting a tough encounter, as he knows their recently appointed new gaffer Noel Mitchell very well.

Stute will have new signings Peter Bradley and Darren McFadden available for selection as their paperwork is now processed.

Championship One side Loughgall lost out last weekend to a deflected injury-time goal but will be aiming for an upturn in fortunes.

“I’m delighted that Noel and Stephen have agreed to become our new management team,” said Loughgall chairman John McCann in a statement on the club website.

“They both come as highly-respected and experienced coaches in local football and everyone at Lakeview is looking forward to their arrival.

“We can now approach the remainder of the season with a degree of optimism and expectation.”
