Linfield’s active transfer window continued on Friday with the signing of midfielder Gary Lavery.
Lavery has joined the Blues from Fleetwood Town in a loan deal to the end of the season.
The 18-year-old had previously spells with Glenavon and Cardiff City, and Healy believes the new arrival will be another positive addition.
“The signing of Gary will further increase competition levels within the squad and I’m looking forward to working with him along with our other talented new young signings,” Healy said.
“The opportunity to compete for a place within our squad over the coming months will aid his development as a promising player with great potential.”
Lavery’s arrival comes just 24 hours after the signing of Harland and Wolff Welders striker Michael McLellan.
