Linfield manager Warren Feeney believes Ivan Sproule’s experience will be a valuable asset next season.
Sproule has agreed a new one-year deal with the Blues.
The former Northern Ireland winger joined Linfield in December 2013 and went on to make 11 appearances that season.
Last term Sproule played 31 games and scored five goals.
“I’m delighted to announce that Ivan Sproule has signed a new one year contract with the club,” Feeney told the club’s official website.
“He’s a vastly experienced player who I’m sure will make an enormous contribution to the squad, on and off the pitch, in the coming season.
“He’s a fast, tricky winger and having seen him in training this week, he’s fit and in great shape and condition. He knows how to look after himself properly and he’s absolutely raring to go in the new season.
“He had no doubts or hesitation in signing for another season and he’ll be great, in terms of helping to pass on his considerable experience to the younger players in our squad.”
