Linfield sealed this Danske Bank Premiership game with a three goals in eight first half minutes and there was no way back for Warrenppoint.

This 3-0 win keeps Linfield second in the table and their faint hopes of winning the title remain.

However Crusaders are comfortably in the driving seat with a six point cushion with seven games remaining.

The Blues opening goal came from man of the match Ross Clarke after 7 minutes and within 60 seconds it was 2-0.

Jamie Mulgrew played in Sammy Morrow for number two much to the delight of the Linfield faithful.

The third goal, which put the game beyond the ‘Point, came from Mulgrew who’s left foot shot had the Blues in cruise control.
