Northern Ireland boss Michael O’Neill has named a strong squad for next week’s friendly against Latvia.
O’Neill revealed on Wednesday a 23-man panel for the game at Windsor Park on Friday, November 13.
Striking talisman Kyle Lafferty has been included despite struggling to earn regular game time at Norwich City.
Manchester United defender Paddy McNair has been omitted as he recovers from an abdominal injury sustained in last month’s 1-1 draw with Finland that saw Northern Ireland win their Euro qualifying Group F.
McNair could still join up with O’Neill’s squad for next week’s game if he recovers in time.
Aaron Hughes will miss the friendly in Belfast and will remain in Australia with Melbourne City, while Ryan McLaughlin and Luke McCullough will feature for the Under 21s.
West Bromwich Albion defender Jonny Evans returns after missing last month’s qualifiers against Greece and Finland with a hamstring injury.
Latvia finished bottom of their qualifying group.
Next week’s match will be the last before the draw for the Euros is made in Paris on December 12.
