Cliftonville have secured home advantage for the League Cup final against Ards, which will take place at Solitude on February 13 (kick-off 5.30pm).

Following a ‘review of available venues,’ the Northern Ireland Football League said the decision was taken to play the decider at the north Belfast ground.

Cliftonville defeated Warrenpoint Town 1-0 in the last four and are aiming to win the cup for a fourth consecutive year.

Championship One leaders Ards beat Coleraine 5-3 on penalties after the match ended 2-2 following extra-time.
