Brentford star Stuart Dallas is ready to realise his dream of playing in the Barclays Premier League.
The Northern Ireland winger is just three games away from reaching the promised land of the English top flight.
Dallas’ performances have helped Brentford reach the Championship play-offs, where they host Middlesbrough in Friday night’s first leg.
It has been a meteoric rise for the former Coagh United and Crusaders youngster, who left Seaview to join the Bees in the summer of 2012.
And with the Premier League within reach, Dallas is hoping Brentford can finish the job.
“Playing in the Premier League would be a dream come true,” Dallas said.
“It is the highest level you can play at in England, and one of the best leagues in the world.
“We are just three games away from that dream, and we are determined to take our chance.
“But we know it will be tough. Middlesbrough are a very good team, and they have beaten us twice in the league this season. We are under no illusions, but we can’t wait for Friday night.
“We are at home in the first leg and we will attack them. The main thing is having something to take into next week’s return leg.
“When we embarked on this season, the aim was always to try and reach the play-offs. Nobody gave us a chance, but we all believed we were capable of finishing in the top spots of the Championship.
“We knew were good enough, and we have proved that. Now we want to go and prove ourselves against Middlesbrough and hopefully a play-off final.
“Like I said, it would be a dream to reach the Premier League. Every player wants to play at that level and we have the chance to do that.”
