Rory McIlroy's second round begins over an hour later than scheduled at BMW PGA Championship after play suspended following lightning

Play was suspended in the second round of the BMW PGA Championship on Friday due to the threat of lightning at Wentworth.

England’s Matthew Baldwin, who held a one-shot lead overnight following an opening 65, had increased his advantage to four strokes when the players were called off the course.

Baldwin had covered the front nine in 30 and was 12 under par after 16 holes of round two, with Andy Sullivan, Thriston Lawrence and former winner Billy Horschel all on eight under.
