Guardiola's men go into this particular Mancunian match-up sitting pretty. They're top of the Premier League, playing some scintillating football and are eight points clear of arch-rivals United who lie in second spot.

Victory for Mourinho would certainly make things interesting going into the Christmas period but a win for City would see them open up a massive 11-point lead at the summit.

It may not be at the forefront of the visiting players' minds, but if City do bag the three points at Old Trafford they will equal Arsenal's 2002 all-time English top-flight league record of 14 victories on the spin.

Which TV channel is it on?

Man United v. Man City will be screened live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event on Sunday, December 10. The pre-match build-up begins at 4:15pm.

What time is kick-off?
