Two Ulster drivers currently making a name for themselves will be at the Cultra Hillclimb which takes place on Saturday.
Porsche Carrera Cup driver Charlie Eastwood will be driving a Porsche road car, which has been kindly provided by the Porsche Centre Belfast, in a demonstration run up the hillclimb course.
After his driving duties Charlie will be interviewed by the events commentary team, which this year will be housed in a ‘Boris Bus’ and will be doing an autograph session for the MSA initiative GoMotorsport.
BTCC driver Chris Smiley will drive the new Lexus GSF, as his race car is a Toyota Avensis run by Tony Gilham’s Team HARD.
The car is being vinyl rapped for the event and will be one of two models on display supplied by Charles Hurst.
Chris will join Charlie on the GoMotorsport Stand at Cultra Manor after their runs, which are scheduled for around mid-day. The event is organised by the Thoroughbred Sports Car Club.
One hundred competing cars will be in action and the opportunity to see a display of classic cars.
This motoring event is something of a garden party, a great day out for the whole family.
An added attraction will be one of the largest gatherings of pre-war M.Gs seen in Ulster since the 1930s when they won the Ards TT races three times.
