County Antrim Indoor Bowls club will begin the new season with a bang by hosting a Friday Night Triples League.

This innovative venture, played in two sections, will be staged either side of Christmas, finishing up with an end of season play-off.

It is planned that 16 triples will be involved, battling for part of a £1200 prize fund.

“We think it will catch the imagination of a lot of people,” said Stadium manager Rod Coleman.

“It is an open league, open to members or non-members.

“Basically, it is open to anyone who fancies competing in a league on Friday night. The combinations can be made up of male, female of a mixture of both.

“Entry into the league is free, with a £5 green fee payable each week per person. “Games will be played from 7.30-10pm on the specified dates.

“All games must be completed. If a game should be cancelled for any reason an alternative date will be provided. Dress code is greys with white or club shirt.

“The end of season play-offs will see eight qualifiers fight it out for a place in the grand final.”

To enter simply download and return the entry form from the Stadium’s website or email your triple with a contact telephone number to jimbakerstadium.com. Alternatively contact: 02894432937.
