Ian Ross has already cemented his place in the semi final of the Provincial Bowling Association’s fours championship, but there’s a chance he’ll be joined by his Coleraine team mate Victor Dallas.
Ross skipped his rink to victory against Robert McBride’s Ballymoney side in midweek, now Dallas will line out against James Martin, who is also from Ballymoney, in tomorrow night’s remaining quarter final games.
Irish international Gary Kelly will be out to give the tournament organisers a headache by booking a place in his third semi finals slot.
He has already qualified in the singles and pairs, but Dunluce’s Barry Kane has the chance of derailing Kelly’s treble ambitions.
The other game features the 2013 fours champions, skipped by Colin Mabon - they wrote themselves into the history books by becoming the first Letterkenny side to win a nationa title - against Willie McKeown’s Ballymoney combination.
Meanwhile, the Provincials have named the team that will go into action in the IBA Under-25 Inter-Association Championship at Belmont next weekend, Friday-Saturday, July 17-18.
