John Breen will be looking for a hat-trick of wins at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast on November 20.

The Belfast trainer will have Marc McCullough, Paddy Gallagher and Fergal McCrory fighting on the Cyclone Promotions bill.

McCullough will face Spain’s Sergio Prado on the night and Breen says that is the Belfast featherweight comes through that fight - there are bigger clashes on the horizon.

“We are trying to get Marc a fight with Josh Warrington on the Carl Frampton bill in Manchester on Febuary 27.

“That is the fight we have asked for but we will have to wait and see what happens.

“But the main thing at the minute, is that Marc wins at the Waterfront,” added Breen.

McCullough was stopped in the first round of his fight in Germany in the summer - but bounced back with a first round victory in Edinburgh in October.

And Breen hopes his fighter has got over his shock defeat to Zoltan Kovacs.

“He came back well in his last fight and blew the guy away - but the other guy did not throw a punch at him.

“He has been training and sparring well and I believe he will beat Prado at the Waterfront.

“Prado is a come forward fighter - so we know what to expect. He fought and lost to Kid Galahad for the European title, so we have had a look at him.

“But as I said ‘Marc has been training well,’ so I am expecting a win,” said Breen.

Another of Breen’s young fighters - Commonwealth Games gold medal winner Gallagher will also be in action and the veteran trainer is sure the Belfast fighter will deliver.

“Paddy is fighting a Hungarian kid, who has the same kind of record as Paddy.

“He has trained and sparred well but with Paddy you never know what will happen on the night.

“I want him to box - but Paddy likes to fight - so we will have to wait and see what happens.

“Paddy wins this fight, then we will be looking at a title fight in his next outing,” he added.

And young gun McCrory - who will make his debut at the Waterfront - has impressed Breen in the gym.

“He has great power in his left hand and he is really committed and dedicated. He will go well,” he added.
