Lisnagarvey keep title race alive with win over Instonians

Lisnagarvey kept the GOC Estate Agents premiership title in the melting pot for another few days, when they edged past Instonians 3-2.

Two goals from James Lorimer and one from Sean Murray were enough to seal the three points.

Annadale closed the gap on Inst, for an automatic qualifying spot to next season’s IHL when they defeated Civil Service 4-1, thanks to a hat-trick from Chris Jackson and one from Chris Thompson.

The result now takes Dale within two points of Inst and they have two games in hand.
