The Private Greens League will have three new faces on board to defend the IBA Inter-Association Championship at Belmont next month.

Dunbarton’s Ryan McElroy has been handed his debut along with Sam Barkley (Old Bleach) and Jordan McBride, who bowls for Comber.

Ewarts’ David Cunningham has been recalled.

The three players listed as reserves will also be involved for the first time at this level - Conor Burns (Salisbury), Adam McKeown (Mossley and Pickie’s Jamie Watson.

McElroy, son off Dunbarton regular Gary, is drafted in at lead in the rink skipped by Terry Crawford, who will also have Cunningham at second.

Barkley is also given the roll of lead.

He’ll have his Old Bleach team mate Robert Kirkwood skipping.

McBride comes in at second in a strong rink that also includes Stephen Shields, Jack Moffett and Stephen Kirkwood.

The tournament, which will be hosted by the Bowling League of Ireland, will be played on Friday and Saturday, July 17-18 and there should be some very interesting clashes over the two days.
