Ulster counties, Tyrone, Monaghan, Donegal, Derry and Fermanagh get their Division One Allianz Football League campaigns under way on Saturday.
There are two mouth-watering Division One clashes in prospect with recent McKenna Cup winners Tyrone facing Monaghan and Donegal taking on Derry.
Tyrone boss Mickey Harte has made several changes to his side from last weekend’s Cup win over Cavan. Ronan McNamee, Mattie Donnelly, Colm Cavanagh, PJ Lavery, Peter Hughes and Darren McCurry all start, with Joe McMahon, Mark Donnelly, Plunkett Kane and Kyle Coney no longer on the panel.
Derry boss Brian McIver has named Thomas Mallon, Niall Holly, Gerard O’Kane, Sean Leo McGoldrick and Emmett McGuckin in his team to face Donegal in the evening kick-off.
Conor McAtamney has been named alongside Mark Lynch in midfield while Eoin Bradley, who will line out for Glenavon on Saturday afternoon, has a place on the bench.
Donegal manager Rory Gallagher has named a strong side for the game. He is without Anthony Thompson, Colm McFadden and Neil McGee, but Mark McHugh returns to the starting line-up, while Martin O’Reilly is named in the full forward line. Kilcar’s Ciarán McGinley will make his debut at left half back.
