The RST Superbike race at the Isle of Man TT has been switched to Sunday as part of a revised race schedule this weekend, with strong winds predicted on Saturday.

The new programme was confirmed on Friday afternoon, with additional practice for the solo machines scheduled on Saturday.

The first Sure Sidecar Race will take place on Saturday afternoon from 2pm following extra practice for the Superbike, Supersport and Superstock machines, which gets underway at 10.40am.

This will be followed by a practice session for the Lightweight and Supersport competitors from 11.50am.

The RST Parade Lap will take place from 12.50pm on Saturday before the opening Sidecar race.

A qualifying session for the SES TT Zero Race will be held from 3.20pm, with roads due to open at 4pm.

The RST Superbike race is now due to take place at 2pm on Sunday, although this is subject to change depending on the weather.

Qualifying on Friday evening is due to go ahead as planned around the Mountain Course from 6.20pm.
