Peter Nelson will start at outhalf for Ulster in Friday night’s Guinness PRO12 season opener against Ospreys at Kingspan Stadium.

With Ian Humphreys ruled out with a hamstring injury and Sam Windsor also having issues, Nelson gets the nod from head coach Neil Doak.

Nelson, who has played more on the wing full Ulster, has featured at outhalf for his club Dungannon and Ulster Ravens and is a useful goal kicker.

Fans will also be able to buy on the gate on Friday evening, although for the best available tickets, supporters are encouraged to purchase in advance.
