Hopes remain high that three of Ulster’s summer signings will be available to boost the side ahead of Saturday’s Heineken Champions Cup match against Leicester Tigers at Kingspan Stadium.

Jordi Murphy, Marty Moore and Will Addison have moved off the injury list and returned to training this week.

Having suffered two consecutive Guinness PRO14 losses any one of the three would be a huge boost to the side as they look to get their European bid off on the right footing.

Joining Murphy, Addison and Moore in returning to team training this week is hot out-half prospect Michael Lowry, who Ulster also hope to have available for selection this weekend.

Ireland international Murphy, who joined from Leinster, has played just once for Ulster this season.

Head coach, Dan McFarland said their “availability for this weekend will be monitored during the week.

Meanwhile, loosehead prop Eric O’Sullivan - another exciting prospect - is currently undergoing the return-to-play protocols after suffering a concussion in last Friday’s defeat to Connacht in Belfast.
