This year’s 2016/17 inter-Schools showjumping League is going to be even bigger than ever with the ongoing sponsorship endorsement with TRI Equestrian NI.

Having TRI as title sponsors will ensure that prize- winning competitors will be treated to some superb prizes that they can select themselves at the onsite TRI Equestrian store that opened its doors at The Meadows two years ago.

The first inter-schools competition will be held on Saturday 24th September with both Primary and Secondary Schools being invited to come along and take part in this exciting schools league.

Last year schools from all across Ireland travelled to take part, from Donegal to Enniskillen and this year will be no different.

The inter-school league will run from September through to January, culminating in the grand final on 14th January 2017. The competition consists of Primary, Novice and Open team and individual events – allowing a platform for all riders of all ages to represent their school.

The first show will kick off in Arena one with the ever popular novice team class (85cm), followed by the open team and individual events (max 1m) and then the Premier Individual class (max 1.10m).

Arena two will start with the very popular 50cm Primary Individual class followed by the primary school team competition (max 70cm), primary individuals (max 70cm) and Novice individual (85cms).

As usual there will be prizes on the day for all classes kindly sponsored by TRI as well as prizes awarded for the best turned out and spot prizes kindly sponsored by Baileys Horse feeds.

The entries for the first show will close at 5pm on Wednesday 21st September.

All entries MUST be completed and prepaid online before the deadline.
