You can’t mistake their biology - and now you can’t miss them as they tour the UK in 2013.
Girls Aloud hit the road on tour early next year and have just added additional dates in Dublin and Belfast due to massive demand.
In October Cheryl, Kimberley, Nadine, Nicola and Sarah announced their return at a press conference at the Corinthia Hotel in London and followed it up with the release of their latest single Something New, the official single for BBC Children In Need 2012. The girls performed the song for the first time on Children In Need in November.
Something New is the lead single from the album Ten, which is a collection of the BRIT award-winning group’s singles over the last ten years as well as four new songs which the girls worked on over the past year.
It is the first time all of Girls Aloud’s greatest hits are together on one disc. Disc two of the deluxe version of the album has also been completely decided by the fans by voting for the songs they wanted to include through GirlsAloud.com.
Since they debuted with Sound Of The Underground in 2002, Girls Aloud have had 20 top ten singles and four #1s. Each of their five albums have gone platinum or above. In total they have sold over eight million records and have clocked up over 45 million You Tube views, close to six million Facebook likes and three million Twitter followers.
Tickets for the additional tour dates in March in Belfast and Dublin go on sale at 9am on Friday December 7 and will be available from www.girlsaloud.com and www.ticketmaster.ie.
