Northern Ireland firm, Sugar Rush up for two awards at the 26th Spider Awards in Dublin

Northern Ireland digital agency, Sugar Rush has been nominated for two awards the 26th Spider Awards in Dublin, aka ‘The Spiders’.

Based in Belfast, Sugar Rush has been nominated for the Best Mobile App and Best Digital Team of the Year categories.

The agency works for a multitude of industries and counts 80s music legends A-Ha and television series Game of Thrones as clients. They have, for 20 years been guiding global companies through change in business, software communications and mobile app technology.

No stranger to beckoning industry-respected accolades, Sugar Rush is the only Northern Ireland business to be nominated in its respective categories at The Spiders, which will be held in March at The Mansion House, Dublin.

In the Best Mobile App 2023 category, the firm is being recognised for its work with Angling Direct, Europe’s largest online fishing retail supplier. Sugar Rush created a complementary mobile app in parallel with Angling Direct’s successful eCommerce website. The agency sits alongside Revolut and An Post among other organisations in this category.

Meanwhile the Sugar Rush team is also up for Digital Team of the Year 2023 with competition coming from Dublin and Galway.

The Spiders are judged by some of Ireland’s leading tech experts, business leaders, luminaries and visionaries.
