Country star Lisa McHugh's band members in '˜serious car accident'
The popular country music star told worried fans she was cancelling a gig in Tipperary because of the crash.
Police attended the scene in the early hours of yesterday (Sunday) morning along with other emergency services.

Hide AdWriting on social media on Sunday, Lisa McHugh said: “Due to two of my band members being involved in a serious car accident last night on the way home from our show in Dundalk, unfortunately tonight’s show has been postponed to a later date. Thankfully both of them will make a full recovery given time to heal,”
PSNI Inspector Gavin Sterling said: “Two people have been taken to hospital for treatment, one of whom is described as having serious injuries.
“Anyone who saw anything in the early hours of the morning involving a Black Mercedes and Black Audi A4 should contact police on the non-emergency police number 101, quoting reference 215 of 23/04/17.
“Alternatively, if you would prefer to provide information without giving your details, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
