A 26-year-old man is expected to appear in Belfast Magistrates court this morning (11 July) charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and theft.
The charges follow an assault on a man in his 30s in the Castle Street area of Belfast on Saturday 9 July.
As is usual procedure the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
