Man, 21, charged with assault of MLA Gerry Kelly

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “A 21-year-old man has been charged with common assault and criminal damage. He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on the morning of Friday 13 January.

“As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.”
