Man in his 20s charged with arson
Detectives in Bangor charged a 29-year-old man with arson endangering life on Thursday night.
He is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
It is believed the charge is in relation to an incident in the Shorelands Crescent area of the seaside village of Cloughey on the Ards peninsula in the early hours of Thursday. It is thought a parked car was set alight.
