Man injured while breaking windows at north Belfast office

A man in his 40s is in hospital after a brick bounced back off a window and hit him on the head in an incident of criminal damage at the PIPS charity office in north Belfast.

A PSNI spokesman said around 8.25pm yesterday it was reported that a male was smashing windows at the Antrim Road premises.

Police attended and a man, aged in his 40’s, was detained and is currently being treated in hospital for a head injury,” said the spokesman.

“Police enquiries are continuing.”
