Disgraceful removal of posters

The recent removal of both Alliance election posters from Seaforde and also Independent election posters from Clough, Co. Down really is a disgrace.

Given we live in a free, fair and peaceful democracy where people in Northern Ireland actually do now have the free democratic choice and legal right to vote it therefore seems somewhat ironic that there are still regrettably a small section of individuals who are somewhat going back to the days of intimidation and sectarianism.

However those people who felt clearly obliged to remove these election posters in Clough and Seaforde are most likely constitutionally incapable of being honest with themselves or perhaps suffer from grave emotional and mental disorder.

They are not at fault; as they are naturally incapable of grasping and developing a manner of living which demands rigours honesty. Their chances are less than average unless they get a God in their life.

All that really matters to any candidates who have had their election posters removed or defaced is that people here in Northern Ireland can still go out and vote for these same candidates.

So at the end of the day irrespective of the intended motives or stupidity of the perpetrators by removing election posters in Clough, Seaforde and elsewhere the ballot box is king and this is where the candidates will seek their revenge.
