Edwin Poots pictured working in hospital after emergency operation
It was reported yesterday that Mr Poots – who was formerly the health minister – had fallen ill on Sunday and was taken to hospital to have his appendix removed.
He was understood to be in the Royal Victoria Hospital, west Belfast.
