Three held on suspicion of attempted murder after fight outside bar

Police received a report of a fight outside a bar on the Hillhead Road at about 2am on Sunday.

The man is in a critical condition in the Royal Victoria Hospital.

Part of the Hillhead Road is still closed.

The closure caused a large-scale tailback on the road on Sunday night at around 6.30pm.

The road is part of the main route between Belfast and Londonderry, and crosses the river Bann just to the north of Lough Neagh.
