Salting has been undertaken overnight by the Roads Service after it emerged there was ‘a risk of icy conditions on some roads in the Dungannon and Magherafelt areas of the province Thursday morning’.
A statement from them advised that "salting has been undertaken on the main routes likely to be affected”.
But road users “are again advised to exercise caution when travelling, particularly when driving on untreated roads”.
