Tropical Storm Arthur NI: Met Office issues yellow status weather warning of wind - gusts of up to 60mph expected on Friday

The warning, which was issued on Thursday morning, is valid between 10.00am and 9.00pm on Friday.
Friday's disruptive weather conditions will be as a direct result of the tail-end of tropical storm Arthur.

Hide Ad"Strong southwesterly winds will affect the area on Friday," confirmed the Met Office.
"Blustery showers will bring gusty conditions at times, with wind gusts of 50 to 60mph in places.
"With trees in full leaf, fallen branches and damaged trees may cause some localised travel and power disruption," read the warning on the official Met Office website.
The weather warning applies to all counties in Northern Ireland.
