After back to back losses in the Guinness PRO14 Ulster rallied to open thier European Champions Cup campaign with a pool four opening 24-10 win over Leicester Tigers at Kingspan Stadium, Belfast, on Saturday night.

Trailing 3-0 at the break, and having turned down numerable kickable penalty opportunities, Ulster scored tries through Allan O'Connor, Will Addison and Jacob Stockdale to secure a deserved victory over the English Premiership side.

Head coach Dan McFarland was pleased with the victory and also happy to back his team for the decisions around kicking penalties to touch.
