Two year groups in a NI school have been sent home this morning after two pupils tested positive for Covid-19.

News of the school disruption has been posted on social media by Dunluce School in Bushmills, Co Antrim.

A post on their Facebook page says: “Important notice please read

“This morning the school has been notified about a positive case of Covid-19 among our Year 8 and Year 11 pupils.

“As a result both Year 8 and Year 11 will immediately begin a period of remote learning.

“We plan for all pupils to return to school on Monday 10th May.”
