Appeal for information on missing teenage girl

Police in East Belfast are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of missing 15-year-old Leonie Hopkins.

In a Facebook appeal, a PSNI spokesman said: “Leonie was last seen in the North Road area at around 9.45pm on Wednesday 6th July.”

The teenager is 5ft 1 tall, of very slim build with long dark brown hair.

She was last ween wearing a maroon Adidas top, blue jeans and was carrying a tartan carrier bag.

Police would ask Leonie or anyone who knows of her whereabouts to contact them at Strandtown police station on 101
