More than 1,000 staff at all 16 dealerships across the province will be participating in a number of challenges and events in the coming months to raise funds for the children’s charity, with an ambitious overall target of £100,000 to reach by year end, half to be raised by employees to be matched by the firm.

“We didn’t have to look far when choosing a charity that resonates with employees and fits with our own supporting local ethos,” said MD Yuile Magee.

“All the staff are very excited about raising money for CFFC. As a local firm which has supported Northern Ireland business for over 80 years, it fits perfectly with our ethos to fundraise for a local charity whose work is focused on supporting local people.”

CFFC CEO Gillian Creevy said: “Having just welcomed our 1000th family to experience a therapeutic short break at Daisy Lodge in Newcastle - news of such significant and on-going support from the Agnew Group will absolutely ensure that our ability to provide top quality nurture and care will continue.”

“An organisation with a great reputation and wealth of experience - and whose staff team have totally committed themselves to our culture and values around providing top quality support to children living with cancer – and their families.”
