Suspicious approach made to two young girls in Bangor

It was reported that shortly before 4pm, two young girls were playing in the Henderson Avenue area of the Co Down town, when two men in a white van spoke to them and offered them sweets.

A PSNI spokesman said: “The girls did the right thing and left the area and told their parents about the incident.”

Police are appealing for the men in the white van to contact Bangor Police Station on 101, quoting reference number 1005 of 27/08/16.
