Four-car collision closes Larne Road near Carrickfergus

Police have said no one is believed to have suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of multiple car collision in Co Antrim.

The crash on the Carrickfergus to Larne road was the second of two major collisions on the same road on Sunday.

Traffic was disrupted for several hours while police arranged to the vehicles to be removed.

The second crash happened near the Kilroot power station shortly after 7pm.
