BOXING: WBA could order third Carl Frampton versus Leo Santa Cruz clash
The WBA could order a mandatory trilogy fight between WBA featherweight champion Leo Santa Cruz and Carl Frampton.
And it seems the two camps have been in discussions to make the fight - but a major stumbling block is Frampton’s desire to hold the fight in Belfast after fighting the Mexican in America twice.
It appears the WBA are considering a mandatory order to be announced by next week - for Frampton and Santa Cruz to fight for a third time.
If the order happens and the two teams continue to battle over the fight location -it will be settled with a purse bid.
