Jeffrey has emerged as the Showgrounds club’s number one target following the sacking of Glenn Ferguson on Monday.

Jeffrey left Linfield in May 2014 following 17 years at Windsor Park.
He claimed 31 trophies during that time, and his appointment would represent a significant coup for Ballymena if a deal can be completed.
