GUINNESS PRO12: Ulster secure try scoring bonus point win over Zebre

Ulster snapped a two game losing streak with a bonus point rout of Zebre at Kingspan Stadium.

Two tries in each half was enough to give Les Kiss side the maximum points.

Outhalf Paddy Jackson broke the deadlock after four minutes with a long range penalty

Jackson was on target with another penalty four minutes later following a high tackle on Stuart Olding.

Nick William’s got the opening try on 11 minutes when he barged over from close range after a driving maul and Jackson converted.

Ulster were denied a second try on 24 minutes when winger Rory Scholes touchdown was ruled out for crossing.

Williams got his second try on 31 minutes, Stuart Olding was held up over the line, from the resulting five metre scrum the Polynesian powerhouse picked up and smashed thought three defenders to touch down with Jackson converting to give Ulster a 20-0 lead.

Williams thought he had a hat ttick but the try was ruled out by the TMO for a knock on in the build up.

Peter Browne got Ulster’s third try went he went over from close range following strong carries from Scholes and Williams but Jackson failed to convert.

Paul Marshall got the crucial fourth try with 90 seconds remaining following a sweeping move including Olding, Cave and Jackson.

Jackson converted to round off the rout.
