Stephen Mallon joins Bohs after Sheffield United exit

The 21-year-old joins from Sheffield United having spent last season on loan at Derry City, he also had a temporary spell with Australian side Central Coast Mariners before that.
Bohs boss Keith Long said: "Having lost two key wide players in Danny Grant and Kris Twardek in recent months, we have been looking to strengthen.

"He is young, hungry to prove himself, and this is a big season for him."
Long added: “He knows the league having been on loan at Derry last season and I believe he will prove to be a key signing for us."
Mallon said on his Twitter page: "Absolutely delighted to have signed for such a huge club. Looking forward to the upcoming season and showing the fans what I’m capable of!"

Hide AdBohs are also believed to be leading the race to sign Bastien Hery from Linfield.
The Madagascar international midfielder had spells at both Limerick and Waterford prior to his move to Belfast.
St Pats were believed to have been in the driving seat to land Hery but it seems the player will now join Bohs instead.
